When having a disagreement with your spouse, finding a solution quickly is in both your best interests. In this video, finding a solution will prove to be a very subtle and humbling experience.

Exhausted Update

Good day, everyone! A new video finally! This was filmed at the end of an extremely exhausting day. Which explains the red eyes and lack of facial animation, but we wanted to do it anyway!

We’d like to have 2 kinds of videos on the blog. First kind would be the average touching base videos which will still happen just like below. Second would be “movie” posts. There were some pretty positive responses to the previous movie Truth.  We have a lot of fun ideas and want to create movies with them, so those will be a semi-regular attraction for the DenBlog. To tell the difference, the movies will have a special opening title screen to signify that it’s a movie. That can be previewed at the end of this video.

The Truth Comes Out

Hello everyone! I sure hope the week has been good to everyone thus far. Mine has been decent. I just had my annual review at work and judging by how it went, I should be able to stick it out there a few months more (hitting my goals). So thank you for your prayers!

The wedding plans are coasting at this point. I believe all that is left is to finish paying on my ring, getting the bouquet, deciding on Terrie’s hairstyle and makeup, what batchelor party details are, where we will dine at after reception, and packing the money away for honeymoon. Not too bad, right? (I will get to Abalina’s this week, Mom)

Now onto the new video. This is merely an experiment and no real point to it other than it being more of a movie than the previous posts. This took less than a minute to film and about 45 minutes to an hour to create. Terrie and I will be filming a honeymoon “movie”, so this makes good practice. Critique is welcome. I hope you all enjoy it….I personally thought it was funny (CHEAP PLUG!).

As I stated in the last post, Terrie will be a more prominent presence on here. She’s been working like crazy and keeping busy. But she will be on here with a vengeance very soon. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! I love all of you and please take care!

All On A Saturday Night

Greetings! Just wanted to remind everyone that I love them. I also wanted to ask for your prayers for something that’s been weighing on me for a while. I pray every day for strength, patience, and to keep my sense of “self” at work. I won’t lie, it’s getting harder everyday…every weekend. I know this is my final year there, but I don’t know if I can last. You all know my plans this year and why it is so important that I stay there so I can achieve them. But the cost of this is really difficult. I sometimes find that I am joyless when I should be full of it (joy, that is).

My ultimate prayer is that I don’t lose sight of the TRULY important things in life along the way…family. That includes all of you and my wife-to-be. Just pray that I can hold on to that and all that is TOXIC at work can’t touch it. I know the Lord is with me always and gives me the ability to keep going. I definitely know this. I guess this is just me venting and telling all of you how I really feel since there is never any time to say it. Sorry if this seems out of place on the DenBlog.

Onto brighter things! Terrie and I have a new video posted below. The opening is a nice homage to Chris. I’m sure you will all “get it”. Quick question for everyone: which way is the bride’s wedding ring supposed to be on? Does the engagement ring point to her or is it the wedding band that faces her? That’s been bugging me for a while.

One more thing regarding the future of the DenBlog. I’ve been hogging this thing since it first launched. I promise that Terrie will get some “screen” time on here. It is ours, after all. Also look forward to seeing more entertaining videos. So far it’s all been experimentation, but some good ones are coming. On that note, have a good weekend, everyone. Sorry for the lack of enthusiasm in this video. I had an EXTREMELY exhausting day. I made it anyway because I want to keep in habit of posting on here. Even if it sucks!

One reason I’m disappointed in it is my video editing options. This was supposed to have “baroque” type music in the background. I added the music but the program told me I couldn’t save it to my computer. WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?! Oh well I’ll just have to be musically creative in the future (I’m good at that). Until then imagine a nice classical piece playing during the video.

Expect a nice weekend post. Weekends are obviously more fun and give you time to play. So you will see Terrie and I take on the world this weekend. Have a great Friday everyone! Later!

First Ever

Good morning, all! Thought I would make the “official” first post. I would have done this much sooner but my darn halitosis…you know how it goes. Okaaay…..moving on.

With this official first post comes the first official VIDEO POST!!! Sweet, huh? I’ll check back in tomorrow with another post. My love and prayers to all of you. Please be safe during this winter weather we’re having (except for you BAMA peoples). Later!!!
